START WITH THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW.

START WITH THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW. ❤️

When starting a new project, finding people willing to partner with you can be one of the biggest challenges. Many people want to see you achieve something first before they can become part of your journey. And honestly, you can hardly blame them. They may not know you well enough to trust you with their money or resources.

Let me use myself as an example.

I am currently working towards building my movie production business. I have approached individuals and companies to partner with me, but many are not ready to do so until I have produced my first one or two short films.

I understand their concerns. But how does one get started without the support needed to take that first step?

At this point, I decided to turn to the people I already know, people I have interacted with and those who are familiar with me. My plan was simple: they could support my short films by placing adverts in them, helping me raise funds to bring these projects to life.

Sadly, many of the people I know are now behaving like people who have never known me. And honestly, it hurts.

This situation reminds me of the experience of job seekers who are told, “We need someone with work experience.”

But how can someone gain work experience without being given a job in the first place?

And so, the cycle of rejection continues. People are denied opportunities because they lack experience, yet nobody wants to give them the opportunity to gain that experience.

The question is: How long will this continue?

It is my prayer that one day, when I am in a position to employ people, I will not demand years of experience before giving someone a chance to prove themselves. Likewise, when I am in a position to partner with people, I will not insist that they must produce their first one or two projects before I can believe in their vision.

I want to be someone who gives others the opportunity to start, grow, learn, and succeed.

The truth is that many successful people today did not get to where they are entirely on their own. Somewhere along the way, someone gave them a push. Someone believed in them when others doubted them. Someone opened a door, offered financial support, provided an opportunity, or simply encouraged them not to give up.

And today, when they share their success stories, those people’s names are mentioned with gratitude.

Wouldn’t you want your name to be mentioned in someone’s success story someday?

Wouldn’t you want to look back and know that you played a role in helping someone achieve a dream that once seemed impossible?

Wouldn’t you want to be a channel through which God answers someone’s prayer?

Sometimes, you don’t need millions to change someone’s life. You may only need to offer a little financial support, recommend someone for a job, advertise a person’s business, partner with them on a small project, or simply give them the opportunity to prove themselves.

Not everyone will succeed, and not every project will work out as planned. But people deserve a fair chance to try.

Please, don’t wait until someone becomes successful before you support them. Be part of their journey while they are still struggling to find their feet.

Start with the people you know. Support their dreams. Believe in their vision. Give them a push when you can.

You never know whose life you might change through one simple act of kindness.

And may God continue to bless you as you become a blessing to others. 🙏❤️

BE THERE FOR PEOPLE WHILE THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO BECOME WHO GOD HAS CALLED THEM TO BE.
